I’ve been excited about this dress for weeks, but I couldn’t find the time to sew it until today’s nap.
The “Pink Lemonade” fabric is a David & Goliath print. Isn’t it fun?
This dress is for Lyra, but I have enough fabric for a couple more, so it’s in the shop. 🙂
After seeing praises for freezer paper stenciling everywhere, I had to give it a shot.
There are plenty of tutorials available, and the process is very simple, so I won’t get into the details here.
I was very pleased with how well the freezer paper works as a stencil, I didn’t have any issues atall. Cutting the pieces is a little tedious, but not hard.
Freezer paper–it lives up to the hype! 🙂
More vintage Doodles fabric!
Unfortunately, I’m now out of the Doodles fabric. :/ It was fun while it lasted.

I recently made a pair of hats for a soon-to-arrive baby boy.
This wee little knitted hat has a brim! The pattern is here.
I used a heavy cotton twill for this bucket hat, so the brim is nice and stiff. I lined it in some vintage dots and then threw in straps for good measure. 🙂
Today’s crafty project was designing and sewing this full apron. I finally used the last bit of Feathered Friends fabric I’d been hanging on to.
